The �Gun Grabbing� group entitled, �The Million Mom March', planned a morning interfaith service and rally on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol today. The theme of the anti-gun movement this year is the �Halt the Assault Tour'. The groups is actively trying to lobby President Bush and Congress to save the assault weapons ban.
The March this year, held on a beautfiul sunny day, in Washington was sparcely attended. One WTOP radio newsman stated that at one point only,'80 people present and half appear to be organizers'. This appears to be less than the 100 supporters attended in 2001, as reported by CNN. "
